RHONJ Season Premiere

Well, it did not disappoint.
My favorite Real Housewives of New Jersey are back again and, as usual, the season started off with a BANG!
For those of you that watch the show, here are a few of my observations.
For those of you that don't ... what'swrongwithyou?
I'm kidding :)

Okay,
1. Seeing Joe (husband) & Teresa on this episode makes me sad. It seems like they are in a rough patch in their marriage & this makes me sad!

2. Milania cracks me up! She is a fireball & says some of the funniest stuff!

3. Melissa & Teresa have two of the most amazing bodies! Especially after having 3 and 4 kids! I just want to know what their ab workouts are.

4. Ashley (or Ashlee, or whatever her name is this week) is kind of crazy, but I think her platinum blonde hair suits her.

5. I can't get into Kathy, the new girl. She seems so sweet and perfectly lovely, but just a tad boring. Maybe that's just me?

As I promised, I made an Italian supper to celebrate the RHONJ. It wasn't anything fancy, just spaghetti and some garlic bread. Maybe next week it will be better ... I just ordered Fabulicious on Amazon. It was only $7!

What I'm LOViNG

Hello, all!
I thought I'd take a few moments to share with you a few things I'm currently LOViNG.

Mary Kay TimeWise Miracle Set

ohmyword.

After only using it for three nights, my face feels completely different. Like, good different. All I can say is try it for yourself. You will not regret it.

Words cannot express how excited I am for the return of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Season 4 premiers on April 22nd. I thought it would be fun to make something Italian for supper every Sunday night in honor of my favorite Jersey ladies. I'll be posting the recipes after I make them :)

I probably spent $25 a month at McDonald's to get my favorite drink: an iced mocha. So, it's safe to say when I saw the commercial for this I nearly fainted. Thank you, International Delight. Thank you!
I've also started living in these shorts. These are the Nike Dri-Fit shorts. Everyday after school I change out of my "teacher clothes" and into these. Heaven. On. Earth. They're just so dang comfy!

Well, that's enough random-ness for now :)

Have a super Sunday & a wonderful rest of the week!
Only 29 more school days for us. Yahoo!

Spring Break Days 4 & 5

Days 4 & 5 were slightly more laid back than the beginning of my break. Thursday Anniston & I took a little shopping trip to Commerce. We hit up the usual Gap & J. Crew for myself, then went to Gymboree & Carter's for her. We came away with some cute spring-y clothes and a Chick-fil-A sandwich :)

Day 5 is what I like to call "Friendly Friday". I met my cousin-in-law (if there is such a thing - let's just call her my cousin), Keri for lunch. I don't think I've seen her since Christmas! Missed her big time! I love her dearly!
For supper that night we met some friends for Mexican.

I cannot believe Spring Break is over!

Let the countdown to Summer vacation begin!

T minus 35 days for me! How about you?!

One Dish Wonder

I am a One Dish Wonder.
What's the dish, you ask?
It would be my chicken casserole.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts-cooked & cubed
1 box rotini noodles-cooked
1 can cream of chicken
1 can chicken broth
8 oz. sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
2 sleeves Ritz crackers
2 sticks of butter

Directions:
Combine chicken, noodles, cream of chicken, chicken broth, sour cream, and cheese and pour into a BIG baking dish. Melt the butter and combine with crushed Ritz crackers. Crumble this over the top of the casserole. Bake for 30-35 minutes @ 350. Warning: This makes A LOT!

Enjoy :)

Spring Break Day 3

Today was an early day! Baby girl woke up with Daddy at 5:45. Somebody forgot to tell her Mama is on Spring Break! We made the most of our early morning with a trip to McDonald's for a butter biscuit and an iced mocha. After breakfast, we went outside to plant the rest of the flowers I bought on Tuesday.
Here are my PiNK geraniums. I like to put a little creeping ivy in the pot with them.
Sidenote: What do you think of my tan?! Totally fake! I found possibly the best self-tanner - Lo'real gel tanner. loveit! I'm naturally pasty white, so I'm pretty pleased with this.
Now, let's get back on track. We ran a couple more errands today, made a pit stop by Walmart to pick up a little red wagon (a present from the Easter Bunny), and did a little napping.
Lastly, we went and had Anniston's Easter pictures made. Let me just say O-M-G! I could have easily spent $1,000 on those pictures! They. Were. Precious.
Will post pictures of these soon.

Spring Break Day 2

Well, we didn't get an early start this morning ...

We lounged around in our pj's, then ran a few errands.

Home Depot was first on our list. I picked up these hostas. Now, I need to find somewhere to plant them. I'm told they are fans of the shade. Is this true?!

Next, was Ingles where I bought ferns to go on our front porch. I'll tell ya', there's just something about ferns on a front porch - I just love them! The ferns at Home Depot looked like they'd been ran over by a truck, so we got our's from the grocery store :)

Last, was a hair appointment for me & I cut my hair!

JUST KIDDING!
But, from the picture it looks like I did, huh?!
I only got my usual highlights :)

Our day ended with a thunderstorm & a beautiful rainbow.
Can't complain - life's pretty good :)

Spring Break Day 1

Ahhhh! Spring Break has arrived! This week is super duper busy for me, but I wanted to try to make time to blog every day.

Our week started off with a BANG! On Friday night my friend Heather, Anniston, & I spent the night in Atlanta. We signed up to do The Color Run, a 5k race in Atlanta, on Saturday morning. We shopped Friday night & did the run on Saturday morning. I was so exhausted when I got home. Let's just say we were so busy that this is the only picture I have ...
We were supposed to meet up with the rest of our team, but it's kinda hard to find your teammates in a sea of 10,000 white t-shirts! Sorry, Erica :) If you want to see what The Color Run is, check out Erica's blog. She has some really cute pictures.

Today I had a doctor's appointment, so baby girl & I were off to Anderson bright and early. My appointment was at 9:30, but I didn't see the doctor until 11:00! I really, really, really hate waiting. After the doctor's visit we managed to make a quick stop by Target before heading home :)

This H-O-T weather came outta nowhere, so Anniston needed her wardrobe updated. For some reason, this picture is upside down, but I posted it anyway. The clothes are just too cute not to.

And it's only fair to pick up something for myself :)

After our looooong trip, she was exhausted! She slept the whole way home & for an additional hour and a half in her crib.
